Do you charge booking fees?
No. For most leisure travel there is no planning fee, ever. I am compensated by the travel suppliers I book with, so my time, research, and support come at no extra cost to you. For group and corporate programs, any applicable fees are always discussed upfront, before anything moves forward.
Why book with an advisor instead of booking online myself?
Because you get someone in your corner. I compare resorts, room categories, and timing you would never surface on a booking site, I flag the tradeoffs honestly, and I stay your point of contact if anything changes. You also get access to Fora's preferred partner perks: upgrades, breakfast, resort credits, and early check in, that simply are not available booking direct.
Where do you fly clients out of?
I specialize in departures from Halifax (YHZ), Moncton (YQM), and Charlottetown (YYG), along with key Atlantic Canada gateways. I know the direct package routes, seasonal timing, and connection strategy that make the trip smoother from the moment you leave home.
What kinds of trips do you plan?
Caribbean and Mexico all inclusives, ocean and river cruises, custom international itineraries, group travel and destination weddings, corporate and incentive programs, and standalone flights and hotels. If it involves getting Atlantic Canadians somewhere worth going, I can help.
How do we get started?
Fill out the short intake form on my site. It captures your travel goals, dates, budget, and group so our first conversation is focused, not exploratory. From there we have a discovery call, I present a curated shortlist, and I handle the booking end to end.
How quickly will I hear back?
I am in touch within one business day of receiving your intake form. From there, quick response times stay part of the standard I hold myself to throughout planning and right through to your return.
Do I pay you, or the supplier?
You pay the supplier directly, typically a deposit to confirm and the balance closer to travel. I walk you through the payment schedule clearly so there are no surprises, and I never mark anything up.
Is my trip financially protected?
Yes. Travel by Braeden operates as a registered travel business, TICO #50027942 and CPBC #88694, and I book through established suppliers and Fora Travel. I will also always recommend travel insurance and explain your options so you are covered before you go.
Can you plan group trips and destination weddings?
Absolutely. Room blocks, coordinated arrivals, milestone celebrations, and group logistics are some of my favourite work. I manage the moving parts so the organizer gets to actually enjoy the trip too.
Do you only book packages, or flights and hotels on their own?
Both. I book full packages, but also standalone flights through Huntington Travel Group and standalone hotel stays through Fora's partner network, often with added perks for business or personal travel.
